²²But I say to you that ^(A)everyone who is angry with his brother^[a] will be liable ^(B)to judgment; whoever insults^[b] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to ^(C)the hell^[c] of fire.

For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into ^(C)hell. ³⁰^(D)And if your right hand ^(E)causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.
