^19 (A)Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

³² “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; ^(A)you shall not add to it nor take away from it.

¹⁰ For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet ^(A)stumble in one point, ^(B)he is guilty of all. ¹¹ For He who said, ^(C)“Do not commit adultery,” also said, ^(D)“Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

^20 (A)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am ^(B)with you always, even to the end of the age.” ^[a]Amen.

Love Your Neighbor^(A)

⁸ Owe no one anything except to love one another, for ^(B)he who loves another has fulfilled the law. ⁹ For the commandments, ^(C)“You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” ^[a]“You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, ^(D)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁰ Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore ^(E)love is the fulfillment of the law.

¹¹ “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

¹⁴ For ^(A)all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ^(B)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁵ But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Walking in the Spirit

¹⁶ I say then: ^(C)Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. ¹⁷ For ^(D)the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, ^(E)so that you do not do the things that you wish. ¹⁸ But ^(F)if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

¹⁹ Now ^(G)the works of the flesh are evident, which are: ^[a]adultery, ^[b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ envy, ^[c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that ^(H)those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

²² But ^(I)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(J)love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, ^(K)goodness, ^(L)faithfulness, ^23 [d]gentleness, self-control. ^(M)Against such there is no law. ²⁴ And those who are Christ’s ^(N)have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

^8 (A)This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

Error and Greed

³ If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to ^(A)wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(B)and to the ^[a]doctrine which accords with godliness, ⁴ he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,
