The Beatitudes

5 When Jesus^[a] saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down, his disciples came to him.

² Then he began to speak, and taught them, saying:

¹⁶ In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
