5 ^(A)Now when Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on ^(B)the ^[a]mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.

²¹ “^(A)Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

¹⁰ Then it happened that as ^[a]Jesus was reclining at the table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and ^[b]sinners came and began dining with Jesus and His disciples.

⁴² And ^(A)whoever gives one of these ^[a]little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

Peter’s Confession of Faith

⁶⁶ As a result of this many of His ^(A)disciples ^(B)left, and would no longer walk with Him.

^7 (A)The word of God kept spreading; and ^(B)the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to ^(C)the faith.

¹⁶ For I am not ^(A)ashamed of the gospel, for ^(B)it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the ^(C)Jew first and also to ^(D)the Greek.
