¹⁷ And hearing this, Jesus *said to them, “^(A)It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

⁸ And why not say (just as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), “^(A)Let’s do evil that good may come of it”? ^[a]Their condemnation is deserved.
