⁸ Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!

¹³ But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’Hosea 6:6 for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”^[a]

²⁰ Then he began to denounce the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done, because they didn’t repent.
