3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
(A)“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:(B)‘Prepare the way of the Lord;Make His paths straight.’ ”
9 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, (A)and more than a prophet.
2 So they (A)watched Him closely, whether He would (B)heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might [a]accuse Him.
3 And He said to the man who had the withered hand, [a]“Step forward.”
4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying:
(A)“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:‘Prepare the way of the Lord;Make His paths straight.
23 He said: (A)“I am
(B)‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness:“Make straight the way of the Lord,” ’
as the prophet Isaiah said.”
