² “Turn from your sins to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”

¹¹ It’s true that I am immersing you in water so that you might turn from sin to God; but the one coming after me is more powerful than I — I’m not worthy even to carry his sandals — and he will immerse you in the Ruach HaKodesh and in fire.

¹⁷ From that time on, Yeshua began proclaiming, “Turn from your sins to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”

¹² So they set out and preached that people should turn from sin to God,

³ No, I tell you. Rather, unless you turn to God from your sins, you will all die as they did!

³⁸ Kefa answered them, “Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh!

³⁰ “In the past, God overlooked such ignorance; but now he is commanding all people everywhere to turn to him from their sins.

²⁰ On the contrary, I announced first in Dammesek, then in Yerushalayim and throughout Y’hudah, and also to the Goyim, that they should turn from their sins to God and then do deeds consistent with that repentance.
