Matthew 28
International Standard Version
Jesus is Raised from the Dead(A)
28 After the Sabbaths,[a] around dawn on the first day of the week,[b] Mary Magdalene[c] and the other Mary went to take a look at the burial site.[d] 2 Suddenly, there was a powerful earthquake, because an angel of the Lord had come down from heaven, approached the stone, rolled it away, and was sitting on top of it. 3 His appearance was bright as lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 Trembling from fear, even the guards themselves became catatonic.[e]
5 Responding to the women, the angel said, “Stop being frightened! I know you’re looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here. He has been raised, just as he said. Come and see the place where he[f] was lying. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee, and you will see him there. Remember, I have told you!”
8 So they quickly left the tomb, terrified but also ecstatic, and ran to tell Jesus’[g] disciples. 9 Suddenly, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” They went up to him, took hold of his feet, and worshipped him. 10 Then Jesus told them, “Stop being frightened! Go and tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.”
The Guards Report to the High Priests
11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the high priests everything that had happened. 12 So they met with the elders and agreed on a plan to give the soldiers a large[h] amount of money. 13 They said, “Say that Jesus’[i] disciples came at night and stole him while you were sleeping. 14 If this is reported to the governor, we’ll personally persuade him to keep you out of trouble.”[j] 15 So the soldiers[k] took the money, did as they were instructed, and this story has been spread among the Jews to this day.
Jesus Commissions His Disciples(B)
16 The eleven disciples went into Galilee to the hillside to which Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw him, they worshipped him, though some had doubts. 18 Then Jesus approached them and told them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, as you go, disciple people in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to obey everything that I’ve commanded you. And remember, I am with you each and every day[l] until the end of the age.”[m]

New King James Version
He Is Risen(A)
28 Now (B)after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene (C)and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for (D)an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone [a]from the door, and sat on it. 3 (E)His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like (F)dead men.
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, (G)as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed (H)He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
The Women Worship the Risen Lord
9 And [b]as they went to tell His disciples, behold, (I)Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell (J)My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
The Soldiers Are Bribed
11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. 12 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ 14 And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” 15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
The Great Commission(K)
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain (L)which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some (M)doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, (N)“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 (O)Go [c]therefore and (P)make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 (Q)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am (R)with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen.

Isusovo uskrsnuće
(Mk 16,1-8; Lk 24,1-12; Iv 20,1-10)
6 Ali on nije ovdje!
Idite i recite mojoj braći neka idu u Galileju. Ondje će me vidjeti.«
No neki su sumnjali da je to on. 18 Tada im je Isus prišao i rekao: »Dana mi je sva vlast na Nebu i na Zemlji. 19 Zato idite i učinite sve narode mojim učenicima, krsteći ih u ime Oca, Sina i Svetog Duha 20 i učite ih da vrše sve što sam vam zapovjedio. Ja sam s vama uvijek, sve do svršetka svijeta[a].«

Jesus uppstår från de döda
(Mark 16:1-8; Luk 24:1-12; Joh 20:1-18)

Jesus Is Raised
28 Now after the Sabbath, at the dawning on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to view the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came up and[a] rolled away the stone and sat down[b] on it. 3 Now his appearance was like lightning and his clothing white as snow. 4 And the guards trembled from the fear of him and became like dead men. 5 But the angel answered and[c] said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has been raised, just as he said. Come, see the place where he was lying. 7 And go quickly, tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and behold, he is going ahead of you into Galilee. You will see him there.’ Behold, I have told you.” 8 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and[d] ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” And they came up and[e] took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid! Go tell my brothers that they should go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
The Guards Report the Body Stolen
11 And while[f] they were going, behold, some of the guard of soldiers went into the city and[g] reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 And after they[h] had assembled with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave a rather large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 telling them,[i] “Say ‘His disciples came during the night and[j] stole him while[k] we were sleeping.’ 14 And if this matter is heard before the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”[l] 15 So they took the money and[m] did as they were told, and spread abroad this report among the Jews until this very day.
The Great Commission
16 So the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated for them. 17 And when they[n] saw him, they worshiped him,[o] but some doubted. 18 And Jesus approached and[p] spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go[q] and[r] make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age.”
