⁵ But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶ He is not here, for he has risen, ^(A)as he said. Come, see the place where he^[a] lay. ⁷ Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, ^(B)he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”

⁵ And ^(A)entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, ^(B)dressed in ^(C)a white robe, and ^(D)they were alarmed. ⁶ And he said to them, ^(E)“Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. ⁷ But go, tell his disciples and Peter that ^(F)he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, ^(G)just as he told you.”

⁴ While they were perplexed about this, behold, ^(A)two ^(B)men stood by them in dazzling apparel. ⁵ And as they were ^(C)frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? ⁶ He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, ^(D)while he was still in Galilee, ^7 (E)that the Son of Man ^(F)must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and ^(G)be crucified and on ^(H)the third day rise.” ⁸ And ^(I)they remembered his words,
