¹⁸ And Jesus approached and^[a] spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

²⁰ built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,^{[a] 21} in whom the whole building, joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are built up together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.^[b]

¹⁷ and everything whatever^[a] you do in word or in deed, giving thanks for all things in the name of the Lord Jesus to God the Father through him.
