28 ^(A)Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and ^(B)the other Mary went to see the tomb.

16 ^(A)(B)When the Sabbath was past, ^(C)Mary Magdalene, ^(D)Mary the mother of James, and ^(E)Salome ^(F)bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.

^55 (A)The women ^(B)who had come with him from Galilee followed and saw the tomb and how his body was laid. ⁵⁶ Then they returned and ^(C)prepared spices and ointments.

On the Sabbath they rested ^(D)according to the commandment.

24 ^(E)But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, ^(F)taking the spices they had prepared. ² And they found ^(G)the stone rolled away from the tomb, ³ but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴ While they were perplexed about this, behold, ^(H)two ^(I)men stood by them in dazzling apparel. ⁵ And as they were ^(J)frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

20 ^(A)Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that ^(B)the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
