28 After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.^(A)

16 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.^{(A) 2} And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.

⁵⁵ The women who had come with him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid.^{(A) 56} Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments.

On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.^(B)

24 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared.^{(C) 2} They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, ³ but when they went in they did not find the body.^{[a] 4} While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them.^{(D) 5} The women^[b] were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men^[c] said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen.^{[d] 6} Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,^{(E) 7} that the Son of Man must be handed over to the hands of sinners and be crucified and on the third day rise again.” ⁸ Then they remembered his words,^{(F) 9} and returning from the tomb they told all this to the eleven and to all the rest.^{(G) 10} Now it was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told this to the apostles.^(H)

20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.^(A)
