¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ^(A)“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ^19 (B)Go ^[a]therefore and ^(C)make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ^20 (D)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am ^(E)with you always, even to the end of the age.” ^[b]Amen.

^15 (A)And He said to them, “Go into all the world ^(B)and preach the gospel to every creature. ^16 (C)He who believes and is baptized will be saved; ^(D)but he who does not believe will be condemned.

⁴⁶ Then He said to them, ^(A)“Thus it is written, ^[a]and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that repentance and ^(B)remission of sins should be preached in His name ^(C)to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ And ^(D)you are witnesses of these things. ^49 (E)Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city ^[b]of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

²¹ So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! ^(A)As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” ²² And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. ^23 (B)If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

³⁰ And ^(A)truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; ^31 (B)but these are written that ^(C)you may believe that Jesus ^(D)is the Christ, the Son of God, ^(E)and that believing you may have life in His name.
