⁵² and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; ⁵³ and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Loving God Under Trials

^12 (A)Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive ^(B)the crown of life ^(C)which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

^4 [a]You have ^(A)a few names ^[b]even in Sardis who have not ^(B)defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me ^(C)in white, for they are worthy. ⁵ He who overcomes ^(D)shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not ^(E)blot out his name from the ^(F)Book of Life; but ^(G)I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

^4 (A)Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, ^(B)clothed in white ^[a]robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

Worthy Is the Lamb

⁸ Now when He had taken the scroll, ^(A)the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the ^(B)prayers of the saints. ⁹ And ^(C)they sang a new song, saying:
