Matthew 26:50-52
New American Standard Bible
50 But Jesus said to him, “(A)Friend, do what you have come for.” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and arrested Him.
51 And behold, (B)one of those who were with Jesus [a]reached and drew his (C)sword, and struck the (D)slave of the high priest and [b]cut off his ear. 52 Then Jesus *said to him, “Put your sword back into its place; for (E)all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.

New International Version
50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”[a](A)
Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword,(B) drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.(C)
52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.(D)
