⁴⁰ Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me^(C) for one hour?” he asked Peter.

³⁶ “Abba,^[a] Father,”^(A) he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup^(B) from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”^(C)

⁴⁰ On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”^(A)
