3 (A)Then the chief priests, [a]the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
2 during the high priesthood of Annas(A) and Caiaphas,(B) God’s word came to John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness.(C)
2 [a]while (A)Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to (B)John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
13 First they led Him to Annas,(A) for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas,(B) who was high priest that year.
13 And (A)they led Him away to (B)Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of (C)Caiaphas who was high priest that year.
