⁷ For ^(A)nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be ^(B)famines, ^[a]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

¹¹ And there will be great ^(A)earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

^8 (A)So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And ^[a]power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, ^(B)to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, ^(C)and by the beasts of the earth.

²⁸ Then one of them, named ^(A)Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of ^(B)Claudius Caesar.

^6 (A)So nation was ^[a]destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity.

Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances

¹² I looked when He opened the sixth seal, ^(A)and ^[a]behold, there was a great earthquake; and ^(B)the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the ^[b]moon became like blood.
