²⁶ So, if they say to you, ‘Look, ^(A)he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. ^27 (B)For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be ^(C)the coming of the Son of Man. ^28 (D)Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

²⁹ “Immediately after ^(E)the tribulation of those days ^(F)the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and ^(G)the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ³⁰ Then ^(H)will appear in heaven ^(I)the sign of the Son of Man, and then ^(J)all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and ^(K)they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven ^(L)with power and great glory. ³¹ And ^(M)he will send out his angels with a loud ^(N)trumpet call, and they will ^(O)gather ^(P)his elect from ^(Q)the four winds, ^(R)from one end of heaven to the other.

²¹ And ^(A)then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. ^22 (B)For false christs and false prophets will arise and ^(C)perform signs and wonders, ^(D)to lead astray, if possible, ^(E)the elect. ²³ But ^(F)be on guard; ^(G)I have told you all things beforehand.

²⁴ “But in those days, after ^(H)that tribulation, ^(I)the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, ²⁵ and ^(J)the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. ²⁶ And then they will see ^(K)the Son of Man coming in clouds ^(L)with great power and glory. ²⁷ And then ^(M)he will send out the angels and ^(N)gather ^(O)his elect from ^(P)the four winds, from ^(Q)the ends of the earth ^(R)to the ends of heaven.

²⁵ “And ^(A)there will be signs in sun and moon ^(B)and stars, and on the earth ^(C)distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, ²⁶ people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For ^(D)the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ²⁷ And then they will see ^(E)the Son of Man coming in a cloud ^(F)with power and great glory. ²⁸ Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and ^(G)raise your heads, because ^(H)your redemption is drawing near.”
