23 பின் இயேசு மக்களையும் தம் சீஷர்களையும் பார்த்துப் பேசலானார். 2 “வேதபாரகரும், பரிசேயர்களும் மோசேயின் சட்டங்கள் என்ன சொல்லுகின்றன என்பதை உங்களுக்குக் கூறும் அதிகாரத்தைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறார்கள். 3 ஆகவே அவர்கள் சொற்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடக்க வேண்டும். அவர்கள் செய்யச் சொல்கிறவற்றை நீங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டும். ஆனால், அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றத் தக்கதல்ல. அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு உபதேசிக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், அவர்கள் அதன்படி நடப்பதில்லை. 4 மக்கள் பின்பற்றி நடப்பதற்குக் கடினமான சட்டங்களை ஏற்படுத்துகிறார்கள். மற்றவர்கள் அவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுமாறு மிகவும் வற்புறுத்துகின்றனர். ஆனால் அச்சட்டங்களில் யாதொன்றையும் தாங்கள் பின்பற்ற முயலுவதில்லை.

8 “ஆனால் நீங்கள் ‘போதகர்’ என அழைக்கப்படக் கூடாது. ஏனென்றால் நீங்கள் அனைவரும் சகோதர சகோதரிகள். 9 உங்களுக்கு ஒரு போதகரே உண்டு. மேலும், பூமியில் உள்ள எவரையும் ‘தந்தையே’ என அழைக்காதீர்கள். உங்களுக்கு ஒருவரே தந்தை. அவர் பரலோகத்தில் உள்ளார். 10 நீங்கள் ‘எஜமானே’ என்றும் அழைக்கப்படக் கூடாது. ஏனென்றால், உங்கள் எஜமான் ஒருவர் மட்டுமே. அவர் தான் கிறிஸ்து. 11 உங்களுக்கு வேலைக்காரனைப்போல ஊழியம் செய்கிறவனே உங்களில் பெரியவன். 12 தன்னை மற்றவரிலும் உயர்த்துகிறவன் தாழ்த்தப்படுவான். தன்னைத் தான் தாழ்த்துகிறவன் உயர்த்தப்படுவான்.
13 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடுகாலம். நீங்கள் மாயமானவர்கள். பரலோக இராஜ்யத்தின் நுழைவாயிலை நீங்கள் அடைக்கிறீர்கள். நீங்களும் நுழைவதில்லை, நுழைய முயற்சிக்கும் மற்றவர்களையும் தடுக்கிறீர்கள். 14 [a]
15 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு வரும். நீங்கள் மாயமானவர்கள். கடல் கடந்தும் பல நாடுகளில் பயணம் செய்தும் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு சீஷனைத் தேடுகிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் அவனைக் கண்டடைந்து அவனை உங்களை விட மோசமானவனாக மாற்றுகிறீர்கள். மேலும் நரகத்திற்கு உரிய நீங்கள் மிகவும் பொல்லாதவர்களே.
16 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு வரும். மற்றவர்களை வழி நடத்தும் நீங்கள் குருடர்கள். நீங்கள் கூறுகிறீர்கள், ‘ஒருவன் தேவாலயத்தின் பெயரால் சத்தியம் செய்தால் அதனால் ஒன்றுமில்லை ஆனால், தேவாலயத்தில் உள்ள தங்கத்தின் பெயராலே சத்தியம் செய்தால், அவன் அதைக் காப்பாற்ற வேண்டும்!’ 17 நீங்கள் அறிவற்ற குருடர்கள். தங்கம் பெரிதா தேவாலயம் பெரிதா? தங்கத்தைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குவது தேவாலயமே! எனவே, தேவாலயமே பெரியது.
18 “மேலும், நீங்கள் கூறுகிறீர்கள், ‘ஒருவன் தேவாலயத்திலுள்ள பலிபீடத்தின் பெயரால் சத்தியம் செய்தால் அதனால் ஒன்றுமில்லை. ஆனால், ஒருவன் பலிபீடத்திலுள்ள பலிப்பொருளின் பெயரால் சத்தியம் செய்தால், அவன் அதைக் காப்பாற்ற வேண்டும்!’ 19 நீங்கள் குருடர்கள், உங்களுக்கு எதுவும் புரிவதில்லை. படைத்த பொருள் பெரிதா? பலிபீடம் பெரிதா? படைத்த பொருளை பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவது பலிபீடமே. ஆகவே பலிபீடமே பெரியது. 20 பலிபீடத்தின் பெயராலே சத்தியம் செய்கிறவன் உண்மையில் பலிபீடத்தையும் அதில் உள்ள அனைத்துப் பொருளையும் பயன்படுத்துகிறான். 21 மேலும் தேவாலயத்தின் பெயரால் சத்தியம் செய்கிறவன், உண்மையில் தேவாலயத்தையும் அதில் வாசம் செய்பவரையும் பயன்படுத்துகிறான். 22 பரலோகத்தின் பெயரால் சத்தியம் செய்கிறவன் தேவனின் அரியாசனத்தின் பெயராலும் அதில் அமர்கிறவரின் பெயராலும் சத்தியம் செய்கிறான்.
23 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு வரும். நீங்கள் மாயமானவர்கள். உங்கள் உடமைகள் அனைத்திலும் பத்தில் ஒரு பாகம் கர்த்தருக்குக் காணிக்கையாக்குகிறீர்கள். புதினா, வெந்தயம் மற்றும் சீரகத்திலும் கூட. ஆனால் கட்டளைகளில் மிக முக்கியமானவற்றை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றுவதில்லை. அதாவது, நியாயமாகவும் கருணையுடனும் நேர்மையாகவும் விளங்கவேண்டும் என்பதை விட்டுவிடுகிறீர்கள். இவைகளே நீங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டிய முக்கிய செயல்கள். மேலும் மற்ற நற்செயல்களையும் தொடர்ந்து செய்து வர வேண்டும். 24 நீங்கள் மற்றவர்களை வழிநடத்துகிறீர்கள். ஆனால், நீங்களோ குருடர்கள். பானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சிறு ஈயை எடுத்து எறிந்துவிட்டு, ஒட்டகத்தை விழுங்குகிறவனைப் போன்றவர்கள் நீங்கள்.
25 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! நீங்கள் மாயமானவர்கள். உங்கள் கோப்பைகளையும் பாத்திரங்களையும் வெளிப்புறம் நன்கு கழுவுகிறீர்கள். (சுத்தம் செய்கிறீர்கள்) ஆனால் அவற்றின் உள்ளே நீங்கள் மற்றவர்களை ஏமாற்றி உங்கள் விருப்பத்தின்படி சேர்த்த பொருட்களால் நிரம்பியுள்ளது. 26 பரிசேயர்களே, நீங்கள் குருடர்கள். முதலில் கோப்பையின் உள்ளே சுத்தம் செய்யுங்கள், பின், கோப்பையின் வெளிப்புறம் உண்மையிலேயே சுத்தமாகும்.
27 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு வரும். நீங்கள் மாயமானவர்கள். நீங்கள் வெள்ளையடிக்கப்பட்ட கல்லறைகளைப் போன்றவர்கள். அக்கல்லறைகளின் வெளிப்புறம் நன்றாக இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், உள்ளே முழுவதும், இறந்தவர்களின் எலும்புகளும், அசுத்தங்கள் பலவும் இருக்கின்றன. 28 அதே போலத்தான் நீங்களும், உங்களைக் காண்கிறவர்கள் உங்களை நல்லவர்கள் என்று நினைக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், உள்ளுக்குள் நீங்கள் (முழுக்கவும்) மாயமும் தீமையும் நிறைந்தவர்கள்.
29 “வேதபாரகர்களே! பரிசேயர்களே! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு வரும். நீங்கள் மிகவும் மாயமானவர்கள். நீங்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குக் கல்லறை கட்டுகிறீர்கள். நல்லவர்களின் கல்லறைகளுக்கு பெருமை சேர்க்கிறீர்கள். 30 மேலும் நீங்கள், ‘நாங்கள் எங்கள் முன்னோர்களின் காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்திருந்தால், இத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொல்ல அவர்களுக்குத் துணை போயிருக்க மாட்டோம்’ என்று கூறுகிறீர்கள். 31 அத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொன்றவர்களின் வழிவந்தவர்கள் நீங்கள் என்பதை நிரூபணம் செய்கிறீர்கள். 32 உங்கள் முன்னோர்கள் தொடங்கி வைத்த பாவத்தை நீங்கள் முடித்து வைப்பீர்கள்.
33 “நீங்கள் பாம்புகள். கொடிய விஷம் கொண்ட பாம்புக் கூட்டத்தில் தோன்றியவர்கள் நீங்கள்! தேவனிடமிருந்து நீங்கள் தப்ப முடியாது. நீங்கள் அனைவரும் குற்றவாளிகள் என நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டு நரகத்திற்குச் செல்வீர்கள். 34 ஆகவே, நான் உங்களுக்கு இதைச் சொல்லிக் கொள்கிறேன். தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் ஞானிகளையும் போதகர்களையும் உங்களிடம் அனுப்புகிறேன். நீங்கள் அவர்களில் சிலரைச் சாகடிப்பீர்கள். சிலரைச் சிலுவையில் அறைவீர்கள். சிலரை ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் கட்டிவைத்து அடிப்பீர்கள். அவர்களை நகருக்கு நகர் துரத்திச் செல்வீர்கள்.
35 “ஆகவே, நேர்மையான வாழ்வை நடத்திய சிலரைக் கொன்ற குற்றத்திற்கு நீங்கள் ஆளாவீர்கள். நல்லவனான ஆபேல் முதல் சகரியா ஆகியோரைக் கொன்ற பழிக்கும் உட்படுவீர்கள். ஆபேல் முதல் பரகியாவின் குமாரனும் ஆலயத்திற்கும் பலிபீடத்திற்கும் இடையில் கொல்லப்பட்டவனான சகரியா வரையில் வாழ்ந்த நல்லவர்களைக் கொன்ற பழிக்கும் ஆளாவீர்கள். 36 நான் உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், இவை அனைத்தும் தற்பொழுது வாழும் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாகும்.
எருசலேம் மக்களுக்கு எச்சரிப்பு

37 “எருசலேமே! எருசலேமே! நீ தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொல்கின்றாய். தேவன் உன்னிடம் அனுப்பியவர்களைக் கற்களால் அடித்துக் கொல்கிறாய். பற்பலமுறை உன் மக்களுக்கு உதவ நான் விரும்பினேன். ஒரு (தாய்க்) கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன் இறக்கைகளுக்குக் கீழே சேர்த்துக் கொள்வதைப்போல நானும் உன் மக்களை ஒன்று சேர்க்க நினைத்தேன். ஆனால், நீயோ அதைச் செய்ய என்னை விடவில்லை. 38 இப்பொழுதோ, உன் வீடு முற்றிலும் வெறுமையடையும். 39 நான் உனக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், ‘கர்த்தரின் பெயராலே வருகிறவருக்கு தேவனின் ஆசீர்வாதம் கிடைக்கட்டும்! அவர் வரவு நல்வரவு!’(A) என்று நீ கூறுகிறவரைக்கும் நீ என்னைக் காணமாட்டாய்” என்று இயேசு கூறினார்.

16 “你们这瞎眼领路的有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着殿起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’ 17 你们这无知瞎眼的人哪！什么是大的？是金子呢，还是叫金子成圣的殿呢？ 18 你们又说：‘凡指着坛起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着坛上礼物起誓的，他就该谨守。’ 19 你们这瞎眼的人哪！什么是大的？是礼物呢，还是叫礼物成圣的坛呢？ 20 所以，人指着坛起誓，就是指着坛和坛上一切所有的起誓； 21 人指着殿起誓，就是指着殿和那住在殿里的起誓； 22 人指着天起誓，就是指着神的宝座和那坐在上面的起誓。

Woe to the Scribes and Pharisees(A)
23 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying: (B)“The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 Therefore whatever they tell you [a]to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for (C)they say, and do not do. 4 (D)For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do to (E)be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. 6 (F)They love the [b]best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ 8 (G)But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your [c]Teacher, [d]the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; (H)for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11 But (I)he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 (J)And whoever exalts himself will be [e]humbled, and he who humbles himself will be [f]exalted.
13 “But (K)woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 [g]Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (L)For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of [h]hell as yourselves.
16 “Woe to you, (M)blind guides, who say, (N)‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’ 17 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold (O)or the temple that [i]sanctifies the gold? 18 And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’ 19 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift (P)or the altar that sanctifies the gift? 20 Therefore he who [j]swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. 21 He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by (Q)Him who [k]dwells in it. 22 And he who swears by heaven, swears by (R)the throne of God and by Him who sits on it.
23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (S)For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and (T)have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. 24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (U)For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and [l]self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (V)For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
29 (W)“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and [m]adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30 and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’
31 “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that (X)you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 (Y)Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. 33 Serpents, (Z)brood[n] of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? 34 (AA)Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: (AB)some of them you will kill and crucify, and (AC)some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35 (AD)that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, (AE)from the blood of righteous Abel to (AF)the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.

37 (AH)“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets (AI)and stones those who are sent to her! How often (AJ)I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks (AK)under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, (AL)‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”
