¹⁴ “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”^(A)

²⁴ False messiahs^[a] and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray,^(A) if possible, even the elect.

³¹ He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet,^(A) and they will gather His elect from the four winds,^(B) from one end of the sky to the other.

²⁰ Unless the Lord^(A) limited those days,^(B) no one would survive.^[a] But He limited those days because of the elect,^(C) whom He chose.^(D)

²¹ I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels to observe^(A) these things without prejudice, doing nothing out of favoritism.

¹⁰ This is why I endure^(A) all things for the elect:^(B) so that they also may obtain salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.^(C)

¹⁴ These will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings.^(A) Those with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”
