The Parable of the Wicked Tenants
33 “Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenants and went to another country. 34 When the harvest time had come, he sent his slaves to the tenants to collect his produce. 35 But the tenants seized his slaves and beat one, killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other slaves, more than the first; and they treated them in the same way. 37 Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and get his inheritance.’ 39 So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. 40 Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” 41 They said to him, “He will put those wretches to a miserable death, and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the harvest time.”
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the scriptures:
‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;[a]
this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is amazing in our eyes’?

33 (A)«Udite un’altra parabola: c’era un padrone di casa, il quale piantò una vigna, le fece attorno una siepe, vi scavò una buca per pigiare l’uva e vi costruì una torre[a]; poi l’affittò a dei vignaiuoli e se ne andò in viaggio. 34 Quando fu vicina la stagione dei frutti, mandò i suoi servi dai vignaiuoli per riceverne i frutti. 35 Ma i vignaiuoli presero i servi e ne picchiarono uno, ne uccisero un altro e un altro lo lapidarono. 36 Da capo mandò degli altri servi, in numero maggiore dei primi; ma quelli li trattarono allo stesso modo. 37 Alla fine mandò loro suo figlio, dicendo: “Avranno rispetto per mio figlio”. 38 Ma i vignaiuoli, veduto il figlio, dissero tra di loro: “Costui è l’erede; venite, uccidiamolo e facciamo nostra la sua eredità”. 39 Lo presero, lo cacciarono fuori dalla vigna e lo uccisero. 40 Quando verrà il padrone della vigna, che farà a quei vignaiuoli?» 41 Essi gli risposero: «Li farà perire malamente, quei malvagi, e affitterà la vigna ad altri vignaiuoli i quali gli renderanno i frutti a suo tempo».
42 Gesù disse loro: «Non avete mai letto nelle Scritture:
“La pietra che i costruttori hanno rifiutata è diventata pietra angolare[b]; ciò è stato fatto dal Signore, ed è cosa meravigliosa agli occhi nostri”[c]?

Das Gleichnis von dem Hausherrn und den Weingärtnern
33 Hört ein anderes Gleichnis: Es war ein gewisser Hausherr, der pflanzte einen Weinberg, zog einen Zaun darum, grub eine Kelter darin, baute einen Wachtturm, verpachtete ihn an Weingärtner und reiste außer Landes.
34 Als nun die Zeit der Früchte nahte, sandte er seine Knechte zu den Weingärtnern, um seine Früchte in Empfang zu nehmen.
35 Aber die Weingärtner ergriffen seine Knechte und schlugen den einen, den anderen töteten sie, den dritten steinigten sie.
36 Da sandte er wieder andere Knechte, mehr als zuvor; und sie behandelten sie ebenso.
37 Zuletzt sandte er seinen Sohn zu ihnen und sprach: Sie werden sich vor meinem Sohn scheuen!
38 Als aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, sprachen sie untereinander: Das ist der Erbe! Kommt, lasst uns ihn töten und sein Erbgut in Besitz nehmen!
39 Und sie ergriffen ihn, stießen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus und töteten ihn.
40 Wenn nun der Herr des Weinbergs kommt, was wird er mit diesen Weingärtnern tun?
41 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Er wird die Übeltäter auf üble Weise umbringen und den Weinberg anderen Weingärtnern verpachten, welche ihm die Früchte zu ihrer Zeit abliefern werden.
42 Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Habt ihr noch nie in den Schriften gelesen: »Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, der ist zum Eckstein geworden. Vom Herrn ist das geschehen, und es ist wunderbar in unseren Augen«?[a]

33 „Most pedig hallgassatok meg egy másik történetet! Volt egy gazda, aki szőlőt telepített. Bekerítette, elkészítette a szőlőtaposó helyet, és őrtornyot épített a kertjébe. Majd az egészet bérbe adta gazdálkodóknak, és elutazott egy másik országba. 34 Amikor eljött a szüret ideje, elküldte szolgáit a bérlőkhöz, hogy hozzák el a termésből a neki járó részt.
35 A bérlők azonban megragadták a tulajdonos szolgáit, és megverték őket. Volt, amelyiket meg is öltek, megint másokat megköveztek. 36 Ezután a gazda más szolgákat küldött hozzájuk, de a bérlők ezekkel is ugyanúgy bántak. 37 Végül a gazda azt gondolta: »A fiamat talán mégis meg fogják becsülni!« Ezért a saját fiát küldte hozzájuk.
38 Amikor a bérlők meglátták a fiút, azt mondták egymásnak: »Nézzétek, ő a szőlőskert örököse! Gyertek, öljük meg, akkor a miénk lesz az öröksége!« 39 Ezért megragadták a fiút, kidobták a szőlőskertből, és meggyilkolták.
40 Mit gondoltok, mit tesz majd a tulajdonos ezekkel a bérlőkkel, ha megérkezik?”
41 A vallási vezetők ezt válaszolták: „Mivel kegyetlenek voltak, kegyetlenül elpusztítja őket, a szőlőt pedig olyan bérlőknek adja, akik szüret idején behozzák a neki járó termést.”
42 Jézus ekkor azt mondta: „Az van megírva az Írásokban:
»Éppen az a kő lett a sarokkővé,
amelyet az építők félredobtak.
Az Örökkévaló tette sarokkővé,
mi pedig csodáljuk.«[a]

33 Ecoutez encore une parabole : Un homme avait une propriété. Il y planta une vigne, l’entoura d’une haie, y creusa un pressoir et y bâtit une tour de guet[a]. Après cela, il la loua à des vignerons et partit en voyage.
34 A l’approche des vendanges, il envoya ses serviteurs auprès de ces vignerons pour recevoir le produit qui lui revenait. 35 Mais les vignerons se précipitèrent sur ces serviteurs : l’un d’eux fut roué de coups, un autre fut tué, un troisième assommé à coups de pierres.
36 Le propriétaire envoya alors d’autres serviteurs, plus nombreux que les premiers. Mais ils furent reçus de la même manière par les vignerons.
37 Finalement, il leur envoya son propre fils en se disant : « Pour mon fils au moins, ils auront du respect. »
38 Mais dès que les vignerons aperçurent le fils, ils se dirent entre eux : « Voilà l’héritier ! Venez ! Tuons-le ! Et récupérons son héritage ! »
39 Ils se jetèrent donc sur lui, le traînèrent hors du vignoble et le tuèrent. 40 Quand le propriétaire de la vigne viendra, comment agira-t-il envers ces vignerons ?
41 Ils lui répondirent : Il fera exécuter sans pitié ces misérables, puis il confiera le soin de sa vigne à d’autres vignerons qui lui donneront sa part de récolte en temps voulu.
42 Et Jésus ajouta : N’avez-vous jamais lu dans les Ecritures :
La pierre que les constructeurs |ont rejetée
est devenue la pierre principale, |la pierre d’angle.
C’est du Seigneur |que cela est venu
et c’est un prodige à nos yeux[b].
