Forgiveness

²¹ Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, ^(A)how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to ^(B)seven times?” ²² Jesus *said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to ^[a](C)seventy-seven times.

^9 (A)If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and ^(B)cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ^10 (C)If we say that we have not sinned, we ^(D)make Him a liar and ^(E)His word is not in us.
