¹⁸ Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

³² That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.^(A)

³⁴ and Jesus healed many who had various diseases.^(A) He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.^(B)

³⁹ So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues^(A) and driving out demons.^(B)

¹⁵ and to have authority to drive out demons.^(A)

²² And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem^(A) said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul!^(B) By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”^(C)

¹² The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.”

¹⁵ When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion^(A) of demons,^(B) sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

¹⁶ Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well.

¹³ They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil^(A) and healed them.
