¹⁰ And His disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that ^(A)Elijah must come first?” ¹¹ And He answered and said, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things; ¹² but I say to you that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did ^[a]to him whatever they wished. So also ^(B)the Son of Man is going to suffer ^[b]at their hands.” ¹³ Then the disciples understood that He had spoken to them about John the Baptist.

²⁰ But ^(A)I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman ^(B)Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they ^(C)commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. ^21 (D)I gave her time to repent, and she ^(E)does not want to repent of her immorality. ²² Behold, I will throw her ^[a]on a bed of sickness, and those who ^(F)commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of ^[b]her deeds. ²³ And I will kill her children with ^[c]pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who ^(G)searches the ^[d]minds and hearts; and ^(H)I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. ²⁴ But I say to you, the rest who are in ^(I)Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the ^(J)deep things of Satan, as they call them—I ^(K)place no other burden on you. ²⁵ Nevertheless ^(L)what you have, hold fast ^(M)until I come. ^26 (N)He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds ^(O)until the end, ^(P)to him I will give authority over the ^[e]nations; ²⁷ and he shall ^[f](Q)rule them with a rod of iron, ^(R)as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father; ²⁸ and I will give him ^(S)the morning star. ^29 (T)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
