Take Up Your Cross

²⁴ Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and ^(A)take up his cross and follow Me. ²⁵ For ^(B)whoever wishes to save his ^[a]life will lose it; but whoever loses his ^[b]life for My sake will find it. ²⁶ For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? ²⁷ For the ^(C)Son of Man ^(D)is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and ^(E)will then ^[c]repay each one according to his ^[d]deeds.

²⁸ “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the ^(F)Son of Man ^(G)coming in His kingdom.”
