²⁸ “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the ^(A)Son of Man ^(B)coming in His kingdom.”

²⁶ And ^(A)it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not ^(B)see death before he had seen the Lord’s ^[a]Christ.

^52 (A)The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You ^(B)have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets as well; and yet You say, ‘If anyone ^(C)follows My word, he will never ^(D)taste of death.’

Jesus Briefly Humbled

⁹ But we do see Him who was ^(A)made ^[a]for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, ^(B)because of His suffering death ^(C)crowned with glory and honor, so that ^(D)by the grace of God He might ^(E)taste death ^(F)for everyone.

⁵ By faith ^(A)Enoch was taken up so that he would not ^(B)see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for before he was taken up, he was attested to have been pleasing to God.
