¹⁷ Do you not see that ^(A)whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled?^[a]

^21 (A)“Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” ²² (^(B)referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to ^(C)human precepts and teachings?

^13 (A)“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one ^(B)and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but ^(C)for the Lord, and ^(D)the Lord for the body.

^45 (A)The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces ^(B)evil, ^(C)for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

⁶ And ^(A)the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, ^(B)staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,^[a] and set on fire by hell.^[b]

^19 (A)Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ²⁰ Thus you will recognize them ^(B)by their fruits.
