A Dragnet
47 “Again, (A)the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; 48 and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. 49 So it will be at (B)the [a]end of the age; the angels will come forth and [b]take out the wicked from among the righteous, 50 and (C)will throw them into the fiery furnace; in that place (D)there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Parable of the Dragnet
47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish[a] of every kind, 48 which when it was filled they pulled to shore and sat down and[b] collected the good fish[c] into containers, but the bad they threw out. 49 Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the evil from among the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace.[d] In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!
