³⁵ so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled:

²⁵ So that you will not be conceited,^(A) brothers, I do not want you to be unaware^(B) of this mystery:^(C) A partial hardening has come to Israel^(D) until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.^(E)

Paul’s Proclamation

2 When I came to you, brothers, announcing the testimony^[a] of God to you, I did not come with brilliance^(A) of speech^(B) or wisdom.

⁷ On the contrary, we speak God’s hidden wisdom in a mystery, a wisdom God predestined^(A) before the ages for our glory.^(B)

The Faithful Manager

4 A person should consider us in this way: as servants^(A) of Christ and managers^(B) of God’s mysteries.^(C)

⁹ He made known to us the mystery of His will,^(A) according to His good pleasure that He planned in Him^(B)

³ The mystery was made known to me by revelation,^(A) as I have briefly written above.

⁹ and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created^(A) all things.

¹⁹ Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness^(A) the mystery of the gospel.
