¹³ The reason I speak to them in parables is that ‘seeing they do not perceive, and hearing they do not listen, nor do they understand.’^(A)

¹⁴ Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind.^[a] And if one blind person guides another, both will fall into a pit.”^(A)

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.^(A)

²² The Father judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,^(A)

²⁷ and he has given him authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of Man.^(A)
