^12 (A)For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

^29 (A)‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

¹⁸ Therefore take heed how you hear. ^(A)For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he ^[a]seems to ^(B)have will be taken from him.”

²⁴ Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. ^(A)With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. ^25 (B)For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

²⁴ “And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.’ ²⁵ (But they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten minas.’) ²⁶ ‘For I say to you, ^(A)that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

^2 (A)Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He ^[a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear ^(B)more fruit. ^3 (C)You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. ^4 (D)Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

⁵ “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much ^(E)fruit; for without Me you can do ^(F)nothing.

⁵ Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, ^(A)or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

²⁵ But Abraham said, ‘Son, ^(A)remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

⁴³ “Therefore I say to you, ^(A)the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.
