⁵ The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy^[a] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,^(A)

³² They brought to him a deaf^(A) man who had difficulty speaking^(B) and begged Jesus to lay his hand on^(C) him.

²⁵ When Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked^(A) the unclean^(B) spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf^(C) spirit, I command you: Come out of him and never enter him again.”
