²³ “But whenever they ^(A)persecute you in ^[a]one city, flee to ^[b]the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel ^(B)until the Son of Man comes.

³ As He was sitting on ^(A)the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of ^(B)Your coming, and of the ^[a]end of the age?”

^27 (A)For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the ^(B)coming of the ^(C)Son of Man be.

³⁷ For ^[a]the ^(A)coming of the Son of Man will be ^(B)just like the days of Noah.

³⁹ and they did not ^[a]understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the ^(A)coming of the Son of Man be.

⁶⁴ Jesus *said to him, “^(A)You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, ^[a]hereafter you will see ^(B)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and ^(C)coming on the clouds of heaven.”

³⁸ For ^(A)whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, ^(B)the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He ^(C)comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

²⁶ Then they will see ^(A)the Son of Man ^(B)coming in clouds with great power and glory.
