14 And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose, and ministered unto him. 16 And when even was come, they brought unto him many [a]possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were sick: 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, [b]Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.

14 And when[a] Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down and suffering with a fever. 15 And he touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him.
16 Now when it[b] was evening, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed, and he expelled the spirits with a word. And he healed all those who were sick,[c] 17 in order that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah would be fulfilled, who said,
“He himself took away our sicknesses,
and carried away our diseases.”[d]

16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.(B) 17 This was to fulfill(C) what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
