⁴⁵ so that you may be^[a] sons of your Father in heaven. For He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.^(A)

³⁵ But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High.^(A) For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.

¹⁴ All those led by God’s Spirit^(A) are God’s sons.^(B)

¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness^(A) is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.

3 ¹ Look at how great a love^[a] the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children. And we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know Him.
