Matthew 5:4-12

4 “Blessed are (A)those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 “Blessed are the (B)meek, for they (C)shall inherit the earth.
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and (D)thirst (E)for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 “Blessed are (F)the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
8 “Blessed are (G)the pure in heart, for (H)they shall see God.
9 “Blessed are (I)the peacemakers, for (J)they shall be called (K)sons[a] of God.
10 (L)“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for (M)theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 (N)“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely (O)on my account. 12 (P)Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for (Q)so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
