Murder Begins in the Heart

²¹ “You have heard that it was said to our ancestors,^[a] Do not murder,^(A)[b] and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.^(B)

¹¹ For He who said, Do not commit adultery,^[a] also said, Do not murder.^(A)[b] So if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you are a lawbreaker.
