^8 (A)Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. ⁹ And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” ¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, ^(B)Satan! For ^(C)it is written,

¹³ It is ^(A)the Lord your God you shall fear. Him you shall serve and ^(B)by his name you shall swear.

^20 (A)You shall fear the Lord your God. You shall serve him and ^(B)hold fast to him, and ^(C)by his name you shall swear.
