The Great Commission

¹⁶ But the eleven disciples proceeded ^(A)to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated to them. ¹⁷ And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but ^(B)some ^[a]were doubtful. ¹⁸ And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “^(C)All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. ^19 [b](D)Go, therefore, and ^(E)make disciples of ^(F)all the nations, ^(G)baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to ^[c]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, ^(H)I am with you ^[d]always, to ^(I)the end of the age.”

⁸ but you will receive power ^(A)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be ^(B)My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and ^(C)Samaria, and as far as ^(D)the remotest part of the earth.”

^12 (A)for the equipping of the ^[a]saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of ^(B)the body of Christ; ¹³ until we all attain to ^(C)the unity of the faith, and of the ^[b](D)knowledge of the Son of God, to a ^(E)mature man, to the measure of the stature ^[c]which belongs to the ^(F)fullness of Christ. ^14 [d]As a result, we are ^(G)no longer to be children, ^(H)tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by ^(I)craftiness ^[e]in ^(J)deceitful scheming; ¹⁵ but ^[f]speaking the truth ^(K)in love, ^[g]we are to ^(L)grow up in all aspects into Him who is the ^(M)head, that is, Christ,

^16 (A)All Scripture is ^[a]inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for ^[b]rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;

¹⁷ so that ^(A)the man or woman of God may be ^[a]fully capable, ^(B)equipped for every good work.

¹⁸ but grow in the grace and ^(A)knowledge of our ^(B)Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ^(C)To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
