35 After the crucifixion, the soldiers threw dice to divide up his clothes among themselves. 36 Then they sat around and watched him as he hung there.

34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall;(A) but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.(B) 36 And sitting down, they kept watch(C) over him there.
