39 And going a little farther he fell on his face (A)and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let (B)this cup pass from me; (C)nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41 (D)Watch and (E)pray that you (F)may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, (G)your will be done.” 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, for (H)their eyes were heavy. 44 So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for (I)the third time, saying the same words again.

39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup(A) be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”(B)

40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me(C) for one hour?” he asked Peter. 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.(D) The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”(E)

43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. 44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
