Matthew 26:34-36

³⁴Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, that this night before the cock crow, thou shalt deny Me thrice.”

³⁵Peter said unto Him, “Though I should die with Thee, yet will I not deny Thee.” Likewise also said all the disciples.

³⁶Then Jesus came with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and said unto the disciples, “Sit ye here while I go and pray yonder.”

³⁴“Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”^(A)

³⁵But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you,^(B) I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

³⁶Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
