³⁰ And then ^(A)the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see ^(B)the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

³ To ^[a]these ^(A)He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of ^(B)things regarding the kingdom of God.

¹⁷ Then ^(A)we who are alive, who remain, will be ^(B)caught up together with them ^(C)in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always ^(D)be with the Lord.

¹⁸ For ^(A)Christ also ^[a]suffered for sins ^(B)once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might ^(C)bring us to God, having been put to death ^(D)in the flesh, but made alive ^(E)in the ^[b]spirit;
