No One Knows the Day or Hour(A)
36 (B)“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [a]heaven, (C)but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 (D)For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.(C) 37 As it was in the days of Noah,(D) so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,(E) up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.(F)
