Jesus Gives Two Blind Men Their Sight(A)

29 As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Yeshua. 30 Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Yeshua was passing by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

31 The crowd told them to be quiet. But they shouted even louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

32 Yeshua stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

33 They told him, “Lord, we want you to give us our eyesight back.”

34 Yeshua felt sorry for them, so he touched their eyes. Their sight was restored at once, and they followed him.

Two Blind Men Receive Sight(A)

29 As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. 30 Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David,(B) have mercy on us!”

31 The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

32 Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

33 “Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”

34 Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

Jesus Gives Sight to a Blind Man(A)

35 As Yeshua came near Jericho, a blind man was sitting and begging by the road. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he tried to find out what was happening. 37 The people told him that Yeshua from Nazareth was passing by. 38 Then the blind man shouted, “Yeshua, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 The people at the front of the crowd told the blind man to be quiet. But he shouted even louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

40 Yeshua stopped and ordered them to bring the man to him. When the man came near, Yeshua asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”

The blind man said, “Lord, I want to see again.”

42 Yeshua told him, “Receive your sight! Your faith has made you well.” 43 Immediately, he could see again. He followed Yeshua and praised God. All the people saw this, and they, too, praised God.

A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight(A)

35 As Jesus approached Jericho,(B) a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”(C)

38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David,(D) have mercy(E) on me!”

39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”(F)

40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.

42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”(G) 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.(H)
