²³ He *said to them, “^(A)My cup you shall drink; but to sit on My right and on My left, this is not Mine to give, ^(B)but it is for those for whom it has been ^(C)prepared by My Father.”

²² strengthening the souls of ^(A)the disciples, encouraging them to continue in ^(B)the faith, and saying, “^(C)Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

⁷ and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that ^(A)as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

¹⁴ Nevertheless, you have done well to ^(A)share with me in my affliction.
