Jesus Foretells His Death

^21 (A)From that time ^[a]Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and ^(B)suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.

²⁴ The Son of Man is to go, ^(A)just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! ^(B)It would have been good ^[a]for that man if he had not been born.”
