²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night (3:00-6:00 a.m.) Jesus came to them, walking on the sea.^(A)

¹⁹ Then, when they had rowed ^[a]three or four miles [and were near the ^[b]center of the sea], they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat; and they were [terribly] frightened.
